inav – privates Institut für angewandte Versorgungsforschung GmbH is a research and consulting institute active in the healthcare sector. inav is one of the leading evaluation institutes in the German healthcare sector. It was founded 2011 and is managed by CEOs Univ.-Prof. Dr. Volker E. Amelung and Malte Haring.

We support our clients in particular with the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative care models and digital health solutions, as well as in the areas of market access and outcomes research. In doing so, we draw on a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience from various healthcare fields and take into account the differing interests and scope of action of stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Our strength lies in bringing together expertise from the fields of clinical practice, academia, politics, regulation, and digitalization, as well as in transferring know-how from the international arena. We have extensive experience in designing actionable and practical healthcare models, as well as in evaluating their quality and benefits. We specialize in mixed-methods approaches that combine the advantages of qualitative and quantitative research to achieve optimal insights in real-world research scenarios.

In addition, inav has a broad network of highly specialized experts that encompasses all stakeholder groups in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, the project work receives scientific guidance and support from four external professors. To meet our high quality standards, we draw on the expertise of these proven partners as needed. The network is not limited to Germany but also includes, in particular, the United States, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, and Denmark.
